Today we spent the day in Roseau, the capital of Dominica. We woke up at a hotel, which we all enjoyed. It was very nice to sleep in a real bed after a week on the floor! This morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast consisting of toast with guava jelly, eggs, fruit, and coffee or tea. We then continued to a beautiful waterfall called Trafalgar Falls. The group hiked over slippery boulders and climbed down rocks to reach the falls and, once we got there, we swam and relaxed. For lunch, we ate pizza on our long car ride back to Bense. The group also thoroughly enjoyed fresh smoothies from JB Juice, the ¨Best Juice in D World.” During the ride we had a singalong, which is always fun — our singalongs usually consist of some Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. Once we arrived back in Bense, we spent the night relaxing after a long and active day. We’re excited for more adventure!
