Today we started out with the usual bowl of cereal, then prepared for our work projects. We finished painting the Anse Soldat bus stop with the help of some local kids. The painting features a large tree, tall grass, and colorful flowers. We returned home for a quick lunch, then headed out to Batibou Beach, a very beautiful and secluded beach with clear blue water. We all enjoyed passion fruit juice and cake while we sunbathed. The group all agrees that this beach was by far our favorite. We then went back home to continue preparations for Summer Fun Camp, which included groups teaching each other as if the others were 4th graders. Finally, we visited a local restaurant for dinner and afterwards ate ice cream, which we’ve all missed very much. We drove home and now, after a brief encounter with a mouse in the kitchen, are getting ready for bed. We all agree that today was very successful.
