This post features student writing.

We all were excited to begin our first official work day! Our first project was to repaint a bus stop. We completed the base cover of the bus stop and are excited to finish our final design. After one bucket of paint, we headed into town to purchase future necessities, including exchanging Caribbean money, and we enjoyed a tasty snack of pizza. After lunch, we were greeted by a group of school children who invited us to come out and play. We’re really enjoying working with and getting to know our community.
